Ord South Neolithic chambered cairn
Ord South is the slightly older of the two main cairns within 'The Ord' landscape and is topped by a small arrangement of five small standing stones. With its wonderful setting and views looking directly up Loch Shin it's sadly compromised by the siting of an ugly telecoms mast, but hey, that's only one view and you do get to see the whole of the Ord area, the wee town of Lairg and a good view of the neighbouring Ord North.
